Town of Wieliczka Southern Poland, Poland lies within the Krakow metropolitan area from Neolithic times sodium chloride was produced there. It was important to the economy for the region slave labor mine salt. It is known as one of the world's oldest operating salt mines. There was a saying that a princes asked her father the king for a block of salt. She asked for the salt because it was price worthy.

The Nazi soldiers told the Jews to work as slaves in the mine for salt which brings them money. Sometimes the Nazis would be so cruel to the Jews and told them to bring the salt all the way to a camp and bring it all the way back to the mines back and forth just to play around with them. The salt mine was like a castle it was so big and if you got lost you might never come out again but now that's different. There was a murder not by the Nazis to the Jews but the Jew to the Jew.

A Jewish officer was killed there by another Jew. The Jewish officer took away their valuables when they were in the Ghetto. The Nazis forced them to do they didn't have to do the work. The officer knew if they found out he worked for the Nazis he would get killed because they were angry. Later then a Nazi soldier yelped what happened here? A Jew smashed his head into the salt and covered his wounds with salt. the Nazi army said go head kill your own king they didn't care.
